Hello, Yams here. Although no one at CARE knows what happened to me and how I ended up in the shelter with a bunch of beautiful babies, they do know that I didn't get the best start in life and things are on the up now for me! I loved motherhood, but now that my wonderful babies have all been adopted, I am ready for a castle to call my own! My foster family says I'm super sweet and affectionate - I'm not a fan of being held but I really love to sit right beside them and get a chin scratch and strokes for as long as they will do it! Now that I have figured out my human's cozy bed I come up every evening to tuck them in and every morning for snuggles! I really love other kitties and I would do great in a home with another kitty or two to play with and nuzzle up against. I am also living with a cool dog, and I don't mind them as long as they don't pay me much attention. Because I never had my own indoor place and people, I would do better in a quiet environment where I can get used to things gradually and have time to relax. Ideally I would love to find a home with a family that will have patience and understand I need a little time to get acclimated. Once I do though I am the sweetest potato there is!
