Hey Everyone, I am Rupert. I was found wandering the streets and wound up in the shelter. Despite being loud and crowded, I was sweet and my foster mommy knew it. When she came to get me, being on a leash and inside a house was all new to me and I was very scarred. But, once I got a taste of what life should be like, I sure picked up fast and life is good now. I get walks and human, dog and cat play time. I love to lay in my dog bed and chew on my bones or do wind sprints in the backyard. I even got a chance to go swimming in the Haw River. That was so much fun. I have been practicing my leash training and even learned how to sit (I am very treat motivated) and no more accidents in the house. My foster mommy enjoys cuddling with me when I do chill out. I am a super happy boy and full of so much love to give.I will enjoy an active family where I won't be home for long periods of time alone and where I have a fenced in yard. I do well with older children in the house and I am crate trained, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I am the full package !
