Ono is an incredibly cute, bouncy puppy with an oversized personality in a tiny body. Ono was bornwithout a tail, the first sign of a birth defect that caused her colon to be detached from her rectum. Shehas fully-healed from the surgery to repair the defect but will likely continue to need medication anddietary management to ensure that she is able to have bowel movements.Ono is a special-needs puppy. While house training is currently the main goal, because ofthe birth defect, her young age and the surgery and healing process, it is hard to know at this time if Onowill learn to control the structures that were attached during her surgery. Ono will do best in a homewhere her people have the time and experience to continue with her house training.
