Luna came into foster care very pregnant. She has successfully weaned her pups and is now ready to find her forever people. Though she was a wonderful mom, she is excited to start the next chapter of her life- without the worries of caring for babies. We don't have a lot of info about her background, but it is obvious that at some point in her life she has had less than optimal handling experiences with humans. For this reason, she is a bit slow to warm up to new humans and would prefer a life with no small children in the home, and appropriate introductions to visitors and strangers. Once you are in her inner circle, you will be showered with love and affection. She would do best in the home with another dog of her size or larger. She would love a dog to play with, and help her to bridge the gap of hesitance with new people- for this reason- her canine buddy must LOVE humans. She is appropriate with kitties too, but would do best with dog savvy cats.Luna loves to go for strolls around the neighborhood, she rides very well in the car, and couch and bedtime cuddles are her favorite pastime. She is known to be a bit of a snorer, and occasionally even snorts. Despite these auditory antics, you couldn't find a better bed fellow; this gal is serious about her quality time with humans. You can bet that your mornings will be filled with kisses and playful cuddles, as she rolls around and snorts you into your new day. Luna's forever home must have a fenced in yard, she loves to sunbathe, and explore; so she needs a safe place to do so. All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older. She has been spayed and micro-chipped, she is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.
