A great companion, Beau just wants to be with his people and is perfectly happy getting attention from anyone and everyone. Great with kids and other dogs, he is mellow when surrounded by new faces. Beau is still young enough to want to play and enjoys having another dog in the home, along with the occasional game of fetch.

Beau is housetrained, crate trained, and knows "sit" and "leave it". He will ring a bell on the door when he needs to go outside. Beau does have some anxiety about being left alone and will briefly whine when his people initially leave. He may have been left alone for long stretches of time prior to being found as a stray. This behavior is being curbed and he's shown great progress toward being more confident when left alone.

The ideal home for Beau would include a family that can give him loads of attention, play outside in a fenced area, and maybe even include a doggy friend. The long and short of it is that Beau is a super friendly, lovable companion looking for his forever home.
