Lucy's previous human had to move into a disability community, which had a limit on canine companions.  She is a lovely girl, but some things in life she's still getting accustomed to.  She's not so sure about going down stairs, or being walked on leash- but she's warming up to these concepts quickly.  Lucy is on a diet, so exercising is definitely part of her daily routine.  It's very fortunate that Lucy is just as fond of attention, as she is of food.

Lucy would love another canine companion in the home.  She has done well with kitties too, but a dog savvy cat would be best.  She'd love a home with a fence in yard, so that she can keep up her good potty habits while learning more about walking on leash.  All children in her forever home need to be 8 years of age, or older.  She is a lap dog, so having a human that can spend lots of time with her, but is also active- in order to keep her on the track of weigh loss- would be ideal.  Lucy has been spayed and micro-chipped, and she is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.
