Lenny entered his foster home when he was only one day of age. He was surrendered to a local animal shelter after the rest of his siblings didn't survive, his mother was new at caring for pups, and unfortunately, smothered his siblings shortly after birth. Though his beginning was filled with "close calls", his foster home had a phenomenal mother dog who was willing to feed and care for him, and an adopted brother soon joined him too. Lenny is a lovely fellow who is seeking a home to appreciate life to the fullest, every single day. He is proof that life is a gift, and that even in the most difficult of circumstances; love prevails.
Lenny will be ready to go to his new forever home in or around Mid March, and he will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. He has begun his vaccines and preventative medications. He would love a canine sibling in his forever home, or to be able to socialize with other dogs often. He is also very appropriate with kitties too. A fenced in yard in his forever home is preferred (physical fencing), and all children in the home should be 6 years of age, or older. Lenny requires a home where his humans are not gone for long hours.
