Meet Salvador!  This pint-sized dynamo is a whirlwind of activity.  He loves other dogs and gets along well with the cats he meets.  Salvador enjoys twice a day walks, with lots of playful games in between.  He is extremely affectionate and loves to be near or ON his humans quite often.  He does well in his crate for up to 6-8 hrs if needed during work days, but prefers to sleep in bed with his humans at night.  He is house trained, is learning basic commands and is eager to please.  Salvador would do best in a home with a larger friendly playmate, as he would be too much for a smaller dog.  A tolerant female dog is highly recommended, as he can have that small dog mentality and enjoys climbing onto and over his current house mate, who is 55lb.  Due to his small size, he will need a home where all children are 8 years and older.  He loves to turn in vigorous circles during meals and will definitely vocalize his impatience, but he is not a typical chronic barker.  Salvador will make an amazingly loving and affectionate family member to that special family.
