Meet Gavin! This delightful boy is looking for that perfect family to call his own. He had a bit of a rough start in life, but that hasn't stopped him from running at life full tilt! Gavin enjoys meeting every person and dog during his neighborhood walks...he believes everyone he sees is there to give him love!

Gavin is an extremely active puppy who is learning basic commands, leash walking and good potty habits. He is a very smart and quick learner and loves to play and play hard. Gavin would make an excellent running or hiking buddy. But he also enjoys hanging with his foster mom while gardening or his foster dad while doing home projects. He would also excel at agility sports, as there isn't much that gives him pause for concern. He is pretty well adjusted and doesn't shy away from strange objects or noises easily.

Gavin is a rough and tumble boy and plays hard, so having a sturdy and playful sibling would be best for this high energy guy. He would do best with a large dog, as he would be too much for a smaller pup in his new home. Gavin enjoys kitties, but may think they are fun to chase if not properly introduced and given clear boundaries with them. He loves humans of all sizes, but due to his size and activity level, he requires all children in the home be at least 10 years of age and older. A physical fence is also required, as he needs lots of room to run and be a happy, playful boy, but in a safe environment.

Gavin is neutered, heartworm negative and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is also current on monthly flea and tick, as well as heartworm medication.
