Did someone say cuddle bug? That’s Phoebe! Phoebe is a sweet-natured, affectionate and smart puppy. Phoebe is a quick study and has her basic commands down. She's very motivated by affection and treats! She's crate trained and house-trained. Phoebe came to CARE severely underweight and neglected at only 6 months old. With proper nutrition, TLC and treatment for a fungal infection, Phoebe is thriving and she's happy to report that she’s reached a healthy weight! Phoebe's very devoted and would be overjoyed snuggling in your lap all day and helping with your work. Phoebe can appreciate the finer things in life (such as a good chew toy or treat!) but she values companionship over all else - plus a belly rub or two!

Phoebe is young and requires a family where all members are over the age of 7. Phoebe would love to have a furry role model in her home to learn from, but it’s not a requirement. Phoebe needs a home where someone is home most of the day to spend time with her, continue her training and keep her properly exercised. Phoebe can be a little shy at first with new people, but quickly warms up. Phoebe expresses interest in socializing with other dogs. Phoebe has not been cat tested.

Phoebe is up-to-date on all vaccines. Phoebe currently weighs 25 lbs and is estimated to be 40-55 lbs when full grown. Phoebe’s spay is scheduled for 8/27 and she can go to her forever home once she’s recovered.
