Marvelous Mavis Muggums (what a mug she has!). She is your basic, all around good dog – no fuss no muss. Mavis settled into her new foster home and adapted to the daily routine very quickly. Within a few days, Mavis was as comfortable as if she had been here for months.  

When Mavis is outside in her fenced yard, she enjoys racing around with her canine companions, chasing butterflies, jumping at falling leaves or retrieving tennis balls. She LOVES chasing and retrieving balls. And she is a pro! Inside the house, Mavis is calm. She snuggles with her foster caregiver, settles on her dog bed with a squeaky toy or snoozes.  At night, she sleeps quietly on a dog pillow in the bedroom.

Mavis truly enjoys her daily walks and loves riding in the car. She has no apprehension about meeting new people or new dogs on her walks or wherever she goes. She is a friendly, playful, loving girl!

Mavis does have lots of energy and enthusiasm, especially in this cooler weather. Daily walks and outside vigorous playtime in a securely fenced yard (physical fence accessible from the house) are essential for her happiness.  She is solidly built and can be very exhuberant. Any children in the home should be eight years or older.
