Sometimes big hearts come in medium packages!

Toulouse wears his heart on his sleeve - he adores everyone he meets!  He is especially enamored of humans, but is a respectful friend to dogs and cats alike.  He is looking for a family that would like to include him in their daily activities.  His foster family has a dog and a cat, and he would enjoy having a dog and/or cat sibling (especially a dog!) in his forever home.  Plenty of opportunities for play, walking and mental stimulation to keep him fit and healthy will be important, as he can be a bit of a lounger when left to himself.  He would do very well in a home with children 10 years of age or older.  

Toulouse is slightly shorter than his body size would suggest.  He is well behaved on a leash, and very much enjoys his evening walks.  He is affectionate and playful, but not rambunctious. Shoes are safe in his presence - he has not chewed anything but his toys and chews. He is working very hard on his potty training, and definitely aims to please the people in his life, though he still occasionally has accidents.

If you are looking to open your home to a dog that will look at you with adoration in his big, brown eyes, and unconditional love in his heart, Toulouse may be your guy.
