Coco is a gem! Coco is around 7 months of age and couldn’t be any sweeter. Coco is also shy! She’s been working really hard at her foster home to feel more comfortable in her surroundings. Coco’s foster mom is really impressed by how well she’s doing! Coco’s looking for a nurturing home that can show her kindness and patience. Coco’s affectionate once she trusts you and she appreciates a good rump scratch! A relationship with Coco takes patience, but is all more worthwhile and rewarding.

Coco enjoys other dogs! In fact, Coco feels more comfortable with other dogs around. A forever home with another friendly and confident dog would be a huge plus for Coco. Since Coco likes to play, she’s hoping for a home with a fenced in yard! Coco LOVES to go for walks and does wonderfully on a leash. Sometimes, she gets a little frightened by new things but with a little reassurance, she’s back on track.

Coco hasn’t displayed any aggressive behavior and is very submissive. If it comes down to it, she’d much rather take off than fight. She’s done really well with her foster mom with all handling, grooming, baths, etc. She’s suitable for a home with older kids, so long as they can be kind, gentle and patient with her.

Coco is doing great with her training! She sleeps in her crate at night. She often goes into her crate during the day when she’s tired, since she knows it’s a safe space. Coco’s likes toys and is always game for a peanut butter stuffed Kong!

Coco’s forever people need to be comfortable with the fact that Coco will take time to adjust to a new environment before she’s able to feel at home.

Coco is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed before going home. Coco currently weighs under 40 lbs and her foster mom doesn't think she'll get much bigger.
