Simba and his littermates were born in an abandoned car at an auto shop in Bear Creek.  Their mom, Hermione, had been hanging around and when the kittens were born the shop owner contacted CARE for help for both mom and the kittens.  The kittens were curled up on the floorboard on the floor and mom was doing a great job of caring for them but they needed to be in a safe place.  Mom and kittens went to a CARE foster caregiver who has raised them to be healthy, active and very friendly kittens.  Here is what Simba wants you to know about him.

"I am Simba, named after the Lion King.  Welcome to my world. I am bold. I am confident. When I was still tiny I would leap into the tub for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Of course, now I eat from a plate like any kingly kitty would do.

I  don’t have a nickname.  I’m just Simba.  You gotta meet me to believe in me!
