Two months ago Ash and Coal were walking the streets, alone and unowned with little human contact.  They got  periodic handouts of stale bread and table scraps but they had no healthy diet and nowhere to call home but the streets.  They were leery of humans and for good reason--some in the neighborhood chased them with brooms.

Since they have been with CARE they have shown remarkable progress. Ash craves attention, comes willingly and is beginning to play.  She is a cuddler who likes to snuggle next to her foster mom at night.  She purrs like a motor when her ears are scratched.  Coal comes when it is dinner time and craves attention more than Ash but is still a little nervous and may dash into hiding.  Then he pops out again!  He plays after dark and will sleep on the bed but chases feet under the covers and sometimes needs time out.

Ash and Coal are neutered, FIV/FeLv negative and up to date on vaccines.  They need a quiet adult only home.  They must be adopted together because Coal needs Ash's confidence to help him make more progress.
