Lucy is an adorable little Puggle (pug/beagle mix). She already knows basic commands, including “sit, stay and come when called”. Lucy is very food motivated and easily trainable. She is low-key at home and loves snuggles, giving kisses, and getting all the attention! Lucy would love to be an only pet, or would get along with an older sibling(dog) that is her size or larger.
“Pugs are naturally a little lazy and typically sleep a lot. They also adore food and have irresistible begging skills, so it's important to monitor your Pug's weight to avoid obesity. While they can't go jogging or partake in any strenuous exercise, Pugs do need to maintain a fit lifestyle.” Lucy needs around 40 minutes to an hour of exercise per day. Shorter walks and play time are usually best for her.
Her foster mom reports having zero accidents since she’s been in her care -- she knows she has to do her business outside. Lucy is crate trained but she prefers not to be in the crate more than 3-4 hrs during the day. She sleeps through the night in her crate.
Lucy really loves people. She would bring so much joy to a new family and she has a lot of love to give. She will be happiest in a home with a fenced yard. Any children in the family should be 8 years or older.
