Reserved, sweet, lovable.  Harvey is a mellow dude whose mission in life is to love a human.  His happy place is in a lap, but he also gets energized for a walk or play.  He likes to be around his people, so will always be close.  He is quiet and calm, and patiently waits to see what you want from him next. 

Harvey was overweight when he was rescued, but diet and exercise is quickly slimming him down to his healthy goal weight of 9 lbs.  Harvey's extra pounds contributed to his Luxating Patella (MLP), a common small breed disorder of the kneecaps.  His Vet considers Harvey's condition to be very mild and predicts a happy, active life for him, if a healthy weight and exercise are maintained.  Walks include small hills and/or low jumps to strengthen his thigh muscles.  

Harvey would enjoy a fenced yard (a physical fence, not electric), but he would also be happy with leashed walks. Any children in the home should be 8 years or older. Harvey is house trained and crate trained. He is looking forward to his forever family.
