Ophelia and her two brothers were pulled from the shelter scarred and hissy. Ophelia was the most hissy but she turned out to be the most affectionate and loving of the bunch. There isn't a lap she won't sit on. Morning coffee is Ophie time. Watching the news is Ophie time. Bedtime is Ophie time. She will just curl up and purr away.
Opehlia enjoys the other cat company in the home and has adjusted to fairly large dogs and kids. She is tiny and will probably stay on the smaller side. She currently has a heart murmur that is being closely monitored. It may be something she grows out of. We have delayed spaying because of her heart murmur but will plan to spay when we know it is safe.
Ophelia and her brother Tofu, also very affectionate, are both available for adoption. While it would be great if they were adopted together, Tofu also likes to play rough so, if Ophelia is not adopted with her brother, it would be great if she could be adopted into a home with another cat who has an equal energy level.
