Cassius is quite a special guy. He is very loving and hangs around the people he knows and trusts like a puppy dog. Cassius is quick to nuzzle and kiss your neck. He loves to play soccer and scores frequently!

Cassius has quite a back story. He lived on his own with a small colony of cats the first two years of his life. He didn't pay much attention to human beings but he also didn't mind if they shared some food or gave him a little attention. At some point, he was injured and the local people noticed he had a bad limp.

Cassius was trapped early November 2020; vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped and confined to determine if he was socialized.

While he was confined, he began to heal from his injury and he learned to trust humans and show them affection. When we had him ex-rayed we learned that three of his vertebrae are fused together on his back.  He does not appear to be in pain and the only evidence of this injury is Cassius' bunny hop for quick runs which he may have developed as a way to compensate for the injury originally. He has no difficulty jumping on chairs or countertops.
