Mr. Chips. What a wonderful wee fellow! Chips is chipper and cheerful. He is by nature a happy boy and greats every day with a positive outlook. Every day he looks forward to playing with his canine friends, all of whom are much bigger and bulkier than he is. No matter. He fearlessly gets right in the mix and races joyously around the yard with them.

Chips is a pleasure to watch when he is outside exploring in the yard: he leaps, he hops, he pirouettes, he canters – he is like a deer, a rabbit, a ballet dancer, a show horse and more. What fun!

Chips is cautious on first meeting new people, but he warms up and becomes a snuggle bunny. He does love human companionship and is happiest when a human friend is nearby. He is very affectionate, but not needy. He is happy to settle in your lap, but also content just to be on his bed next to you while you work.

A fenced in yard is a must for Mr. Chips.  Structured fencing that is attached to the home, no invisible fencing please.  All children in his forever home should be 8 years of age or older.  A forever home that will not be gone for long hours and one with at least one other dog is preferred.  Chips has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on preventative medications and vaccinations.
