Reba is an American Shepherd mix (aka mini Aussie mix), who entered foster care with 6 very young pups. Her previous situation was not a supportive and caring environment, there were far to many animals in her previous home, and they were not being cared for. Sweet Reba was underweight and in desperate need of some TLC. She has come a long way, and now she is ready for a forever home to continue her journey. She is now happy and healthy, and she has learned what it is like to be in a caring and loving home.
Reba would love another playful dog in her new home. She also adores kitties too. All children should be 8 years of age or older. She requires a safe and secure fenced in yard that attaches to the home. We do not consider dog parks to be fenced in yards, and we do not adopt to homes who utilize underground fencing. Reba would love to have humans who are not gone long hours. She is crate trained, walks well on the leash, and knows some basic commands like "sit" and "leave it". She would love a family to continue her training. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.
