"Hi friends, my name's Charlie! I'm a gorgeous orange tabby kitten, my foster mom says that my coat just glows. I live in a foster home with my foster siblings, some bigger kitties, a couple of dogs, and some nice people that give me lots of snuggles. My very favorite thing to do is wrestle with my brother Pinky and chase him up and down the cat tree. When we get sleepy, we cuddle together on one of the highest perches, and if our foster mom wakes us up we give her big loud purrs and sweet blinky eyes. We are a couple of happy dudes! I'm a pretty quiet kitten, I don't meow much, but I can tell you how much I love you with my purrs. I'm looking for a forever home where my family will love me and my brother and give us all the attention and care we deserve."
Charlie was named after the character in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Like his namesake, Charlie is an outgoing and inquisitive guy. Charlie loves to know what you're doing and how he can help. He thinks everyone is his best friend! Charlie came to us from a family that had a few too many cats and kittens, and they knew that CARE would make sure that he would be fixed and placed into a loving home. Charlie is a fun-loving kitten who loves to play and snuggle with his brothers and sisters. He is friendly, sweet, loves all the cats in his foster home (both big and small), and has just the most wonderful outgoing personality. He purrs when he sees you, likes to be carried around, and will sit in your arms just as happy as a clam.
Charlie is looking for an indoor only home and needs to be adopted with his brother, Pinky. They are a bonded pair and will be a perfect matched set for their new family. Pinky is a little more reserved than his brother Charlie, so they are a really good match for each other, each bringing out the best traits in the other. Adopting two kittens together ensures that they always have a playmate and snuggle friend, they will wear each other out, and learn good kitty behavior from each other. Two is definitely better (and easier) than one! You can read more about adopting two kittens here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens
Charlie is a healthy kitten, is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea preventative, he tested negative for FIV and FeLV, will be neutered soon, and he will be ready for adoption after July 10th. He will need to have regular wellness visits to the veterinarian as he grows up, just like any other kitty. If you think you might be a good match for Pinky and Charlie, please submit an application!
