"Well hello, my name's Max! I'm an adorable gray tabby kitten with little white feet. I live in a foster home with my foster siblings, some bigger kitties, a couple of dogs, and some nice people that give me lots of snuggles. My very favorite thing to do is hang out with my people and give them my love. I just love my people, they are so cool! I also love to play with my sister Matilda, we are best pals and we get up to some fun things! Being a kitten is pretty cool: eat, sleep, play, play, eat, sleep some more, you get the idea. When I get tired, I like to settle down on a soft blanket next to one of my siblings and have a good snooze together. My foster mom says I'm the friendliest kitten she's ever seen, I will twine around your legs and purr and purr until you pick me up. I'm looking for a forever home where my family will love me and my sister and give us all the attention and care we deserve."
Max was named after the character in Where the Wild Things Are. Like his namesake, he's adventurous and likes to learn new things. He thinks everyone is his best friend! Max came to us from a family that had a few too many cats and kittens, and they knew that CARE would make sure that he would be fixed and placed into a loving home. Max is a fun-loving kitten who loves to play and snuggle with his brothers and sisters. He is friendly, loves all the cats in his foster home (both big and small), and has just the sweetest personality. He purrs when he sees you, likes to be carried around, and will sit in your arms just as happy as a clam.
Max is looking for an indoor only home and needs to be adopted with his sister, Matilda. They are great friends and will be a perfect matched set for their new family. Adopting two kittens together ensures that they always have a playmate and snuggle friend, they will wear each other out, and learn good kitty behavior from each other. Two is definitely better (and easier) than one! You can read more about adopting two kittens here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens
Max is a healthy kitten, is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea preventative, he tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is neutered. He will need to have regular wellness visits to the veterinarian as he grows up, just like any other kitty. If you think you might be a good match for Max and Matilda, please submit an application!
