"Hello world, my name's Matilda! I'm beautiful tabico kitten with the coolest markings. I live in a foster home with my foster siblings, some bigger kitties, a couple of dogs, and some nice people that give me lots of snuggles. My very favorite thing to do is hang out with my kitten friends and spend time with my people. I love to play with my brother Max, we are best pals and we get up to some fun things! Being a kitten is pretty cool: eat, sleep, play, play, eat, sleep some more, you get the idea. When I get tired, I like to settle down on a soft blanket next to one of my siblings and have a good snooze together. I'm looking for a forever home where my family will love me and my brother and give us all the attention and care we deserve."
Matilda was named after the character in the Roald Dahl book. Like her namesake, she's adventurous and inquisitive. Matilda came to us from a family that had a few too many cats and kittens, and they knew that CARE would make sure that she would be fixed and placed into a loving home. Matilda is a fun-loving kitten who loves to play and snuggle with her brothers and sisters. She is friendly, loves all the cats in her foster home (both big and small), and has just the sweetest personality. She purrs when she sees you and loves to sleep on your lap.
Matilda is looking for an indoor only home and needs to be adopted with her brother, Max. They are great friends and will be a perfect matched set for their new family. Adopting two kittens together ensures that they always have a playmate and snuggle friend, they will wear each other out, and learn good kitty behavior from each other. Two is definitely better (and easier) than one! You can read more about adopting two kittens here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens
Matilda is a healthy kitten, is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea preventative, she tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is spayed. She will need to have regular wellness visits to the veterinarian as she grows up, just like any other kitty. If you think you might be a good match for Max and Matilda, please submit an application!
