Our foster dog Gracie is ready to find her forever home! She was found in late November running down Highway 64. She was skinny and had buckshot wounds to her face. She’s put on weight, her wounds have healed, and she’s just a sweetheart! She’s VERY playful and energetic, loves people, loves to do zoomies, is fine with our 4 month old son and respects our feisty elderly cat. She likely would do fine in a home with other dogs with proper introduction and experienced owners, but she has been fearful and a little pushy meeting my parents’ hound mix female. She LOVES to play outside, so I anticipate that she would love some dog friends to run around with and be chased by once she gets to know them. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, is heartworm negative and is housetrained. She will thrive in a family that would love to play with her outside and snuggle on the couch inside. She’s eager to please, is food motivated and will need an owner that will continue to teach her basic manners. Gracie is 35lb. (affectionately called a “pocket pittie”) and approximately 2-3 years old.
