Emma was found by the side of the road and we suspect that she was a puppy mill dog, abandoned by her owner.   Emma gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and when she becomes familiar with her people she is very affectionate.    Any children in the home should be 12 years old or older.    Emma needs a forever home with a fenced yard to play in, physical fencing, not electronic.  Emma has had cataract surgery in her left eye and is doing well, however an adopter must be within commuting distance of Cary, NC for periodic checkups with her ophthalmologist.
