Sharing Fisher's story...

Fisher is a WARRIOR kitten. As a very young kitten, Fisher was sick...he had wounds that would not heal and fluid in his belly. After numerous vet visits and testing, it was determined that Fisher had FIP. FIP is an autoimmune disease which is 100% fatal in cats. However, CARE gave Fisher a chance by providing him experimental treatment. Fisher endured 84 days of daily injections to beat the disease. Fisher has completed the injections and is now in the observation phase. Fisher will have bloodwork every 4 weeks for the next 3 months. If bloodwork is good...he is officially cured! Fisher's foster family will continue to give him the love and support he needs until cured. Once cured, Fisher will be ready for adoption in May 2022. Fisher had a rough start in this life.
