Samy is a very special cat!   She loves getting brushed but is not an “in your pocket” lap cat”.   She absolutely loves dry cat food and sleeping in sunbeams on fleece blankets.   She is always gentle.

Samy was diagnosed with cataracts at around one year.   Her cataracts were successfully surgically corrected.   She still turns her head to the side in brighter lights and does not make as much eye contact as other cats.   She is completely functional as an indoor cat and needs to go to an indoor only home.

Samy started intermittently urinating outside her litter box.   Her veterinarian ruled out medical issues.   Her owners have had kids since adopting Samy and think the little kids noise and activity levels may be causing the stress.

Samy needs an indoor only and quiet home.   She would do well as an only cat.   She is up-to-date on vaccines, is spayed and microchipped, and is FIV and FeLV negative.   She also is up to date on her cataract follow up.   If you think you might be the perfect match for this special kitty, please submit an application so you can learn more about her.
