Hi, I'm Maverick. My littermates are Bea, Emy and Mr. Big. We were born in Pittsboro under a very nice man's front porch. He cared for us while he took my mom and uncle (or maybe my dad?) to the vet's office to get them fixed. We then joined the CARE foster kitty family. We are up to date on our vaccines, tested negative for scary diseases like Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and were just fixed. So, we are ready for adoption! Since we are so young, it is best to adopt us in pairs or have a kitty a year or less in your home. We are still learning how to be nice social kitties and need a buddy.
If I'm not busy running around the room, playing with balls, cloth mice and plastic springs, I grab a lap or sprawl on the couch for a nice long nap! I'm a "in-your-face kind of kisser" and purr to beat the band. I'm also the adventurous one. I was the first to do a lot of things the others
weren't
sure of. Our caregivers say we are the chattiest group of kittens they have had in a while. I think it's the girls they are hearing the most. They also say we are some of the neatest kittens they have had whatever that means. We love our canned food breakfasts and dinners so much; I've heard them say they could almost put the plate straight back into the cabinet.
Let's meet soon!
