Buster is the sweetest, goofiest 6.5 year old baby, and he is looking for a new forever home. His dad had to surrender him due to medical issues, so Buster is currently fostering with his human brothers and me, their mom. I have known Buster since his dad adopted him at 8 weeks old. He’s supposedly a shepherd/lab mix, but he can talk like a husky, so I have suspicions. He is great with other dogs (I have two) and isn't aggressive with cats, although he usually needs a solid kitty slap to the snoot before he’s completely polite.

Boster loves a good romp in the yard but is very happy hanging out in the house as well. His dad worked long days, so while he does bask in human and doggie company, he is quite content on his own. He has a collection of stuffed animal lovies, but his favorite thing to cuddle is your socks (apologies in advance). He pulls on his leash during walks, but a loose pinch collar completely cures the problem.

Our kids were 10 and 12 when he came to live at their dad’s house, so he is great with and loves children. He is 61 lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, perfectly healthy and house trained. His lifelong medical records are at Crossroads Animal Hospital in Cary. He would love to meet you for ear and butt scratches!
