Elie is a gentle and happy girl and displays her happiness with her whole body!  She loves pets and snuggles and giving kisses. She is very smart and aims to please.  Elie's favorite activity is being loved on; she is 100% lap dog.  She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, she does warms up quickly with pets and patience. 

Elie requires frequent professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.  Elie also has a heart murmur and will need to be on meds the rest of her life.   If either of these items are not something you are willing or able to provide, Elie is not the companion for your home.   Elie cannot be left unsupervised outside (EVER!), she is too small to be left alone outdoors. Elie would be happiest with a home where her people are home the majority of the time. Elie loves all people but seems to prefer women over men.  Due to Elie's small size, any children in the home must be at least 8 years old. 

Elie has been spayed, mirco-chipped and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.

We are seeking a home for Elie that has experience with small dogs and dogs that require regular grooming.  Elie is a low shed girl, but she is not hypoallergenic. 

Elie will be placed in a home within 60 miles.
