Yay! Adoption pending. Easy going senior kitty

My mom adopted me first and then my sister Macy a couple of years later in June 2018. I love Macy but she has an "attitude" they call "tortitude," so I don't necessarily need to be adopted with her. I like the simple things in life; eating, playing and napping. Oh, I really love to be brushed! I have quite a thick, dense coat. 

Our mom got sick, and unfortunately passed away suddenly before the holidays. CARE took Macy and I, and we are adjusting fairly well. Our caregivers put me on something they call a diet, and I am learning to ration my allotted kibble pretty good. I actually feel better and even though I wasn't used to men, I kind of like my male caregiver a lot. 

I am up to date on my vaccines, negative for FeLV and FIV, and neutered. I'm not microchipped yet but will be before adoption. No one knows where I came from, but we have a feeling it was a rescue in Wake County that saved me. Please consider giving me a chance. Even though I am an older kitty, I have a lot of good years left in me.
