Peru found herself at the shelter with an old leg injury that very deformed her front leg. She didn't seem bothered by her injury and it certainly didn't stop her from demanding to be petted when the shelter attendants walked by. Luckily, CARE was able to step in and help Peru. She has since recovered from a front leg amputation and is getting along well. She can jump up in bed with you, go up and down the stairs, and scratch her claws on the scratching post.  She mostly likes to spend her time getting petted and napping with the occasional play. She doesn't mind the other cats in the house but the dogs can be a bit much for her. She would do best in a quieter household where she can curl up in her cat beds, eat her wet food in peace and where she will be with her humans to get all the pets she can.
