Lucky me! I have an adoption pending. Very playful, exceptionally clever boy!

First, let me tell you about my left eye. Rather distinguished look, eh? I went to a special eye doctor and she told the folks at CARE that I have a mild to moderate case of symblepharon which simply means an adhesion. The doctor said surgery was not indicated (thank goodness!), that I wasn't in any pain and the eye drops could be stopped. My eye tears up sometimes but doesn't bother me. I'm not contagious either. That's all I wanted to say! Here's my caregiver writing about my favorite subject. ME!

Al showed up at an Assisted Living facility in Chatham County one day in March. He didn't just appear outside the doorway or in a courtyard, he was found inside roaming the hallways! That's Al for you! He is very smart. Al is also extremely neat for probably having lived outside the first one-two years of his life. He doesn't make a mess with his kibble or canned food, and uses the litterbox like a pro. There's hardly ever even one single piece of litter scattered around.

Al is very playful, but he is also very loving. At times, he becomes overstimulated and will put his open mouth on your hand but not bite down. For this reason, Al should not be adopted by a family with young children. He gets along well with other cats and kittens, and needs a confident, young play buddy in the home. He doesn't mind his caregivers' dog at all. Al would probably be great cat to train to do tricks. 

Al melts when you pick him up for a hug. He will be sure to enrich your daily life! Complete an application to meet him soon.
