Stella is a super sweet and gentle girl.  She loves pets and cuddles.  If you love on her, she is your best friend, she absolutely believes that she is a lap dog!!   Stella likes to do a perimeter search every time she goes outside, so she will need a physical fence that is attached to the home where she will be safe following her Pyr instincts.   As soon as she does her routine outside, she wants to be inside with the family.   She does not appreciate being left outside for extended periods of time by herself.  Stella is appropriate with kids, but due to her size, any kids in the home should be at least 8 years old.  Stella is very calm inside, she does love our many daily walks, but once inside she likes to curl up on the nearest dog bed, couch or vacant lap.  She enjoys her canine foster siblings but would do fine as an only dog too.  She adores people!   Stella was heartworm positive when she entered CARE, she has completed her treatment and is doing well.
