Hi, I’m Stella! I’m a sweet, sensitive girl who is slowly but surely finding my place in the world! I was found with my sister Luna in Hertford, NC by a good samaritan, and CARE brought me to my new mom Tilly and brother Tip – it took some prompting, but before I knew it I was right at home with my new family!
No one knows for sure what kind of dog I am. I’ll probably be around 30 pounds when I grow up! While I love to play, I run out of energy pretty quickly, and want nothing more than to cuddle up to a human and take a nap. My parents think I will be a major couch potato and cuddler when I get older!
I would do best in a house with no small children (any children must be 8 years or older) and only one other dog or so. I am somewhat unsure of the world still, and need a lot of encouragement (preferably in the form of treats!). I need a human who is patient and kind, and would do best with a small family or one human that loves watching TV and cuddling on the couch. Like my sister, I will be available in mid-to-late April.
