Rusty was a scared boy when he entered foster care, he didn’t have the greatest of starts in life. He quickly came around and found he loved being an inside dog and all the niceties that come with it. He likes to take his time when meeting new people, but boy does he open up quickly once he realizes they are safe. Rusty may be a wee one, but he loves BIG.
Rusty is looking for a family that is not away for long periods of time. He also needs to be in a home without small children, they make him nervous. Any kids in the home should be at least 10 years of age. Rusty needs a home where he will be given the time he needs to adjust, and he will reward that patience with an abundance of love and happiness. He enjoys the dogs in his foster home. He would enjoy having another canine companion, similar in size, in the home to play with.
Rusty loves to run outside, so he will require a fenced yard, physical fencing attached to the home, no underground fencing.
Rusty has been neutered, microchipped and is update to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
